Nigel Pullen Solicitors celebrate 25 years

Key Network member Nigel Pullen Solicitors has celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, since opening in Perranporth with one client in 1985.

From typing his own letters and answering the phone, founding partner Nigel now runs a two-office practice with partner Mykal O’Toole, consultant Chris James and a fabulous support staff.

Nigel Pullen Solicitors was born when Nigel moved to Cornwall in 1984 to escape the London rat race.

He joined a practice in Camborne but when things didn’t work out there he faced a dilemma – look for a job in Exeter, having spent his first years there as a qualified solicitor, or try and set up on his own.

The latter idea took shape quickly and Perranporth was identified as the town to target; the one client who would guarantee two years work was based in the town.

The practice’s first office was created at the rear of a fruit and veg shop followed a year later by a move to offices in the heart of the town, where Nigel Pullen has continued to grow from strength to strength.
