Network members have hosted two well attended events for local property professionals in 2010 to further spread the message of their collective aims.
Solicitors from the network were joined by a range of colleagues from the industry, including estate agents, surveyors and mining consultants, for friendly social gatherings.
The most recent, at St Austell Brewery on December 13 built on the success and popularity of the first at Skinners Brewery in Truro on September 24.
These informal networking events have proved an effective way for the network to introduce guests to their collaborative conveyancing system, created to cut the time taken to buy and sell properties in Cornwall.
By adopting one set of agreed forms and procedures, Key Network solicitors have vowed to work together to make the legal side of house sales quicker, less complicated and more efficient.
Committee member Alison Nicholls, said: “The events have gone extremely well. When introduced to the Key Network and the common goal of its members, we are finding that property professionals, from estate agents to surveyors, are increasingly keen to recommend solicitors from the Key Network so that more Cornish property purchases and sales can be completed as swiftly and smoothly as possible – and that’s good for everyone.”
