Katrina Granville of Carlyon & Son

Katrina Granville, a trainee solicitor at Carlyon & Son of Truro, has received the congratulations of the firm’s partners Paul Granville and John Rabey for her achievement of a distinction in the Legal Practice course.

Anyone who wishes to qualify as a solicitor must complete the Legal Practice course.

Katrina has been studying the course part time for the last two years at the University of West of England in Bristol whilst working full time for the firm.

Katrina was one of the few people nationwide to receive a distinction and has been awarded the LPC Open Learning Tutors Prize by the university for being one of the top students. She has a special interest in residential conveyancing, wills and probate and elderly client matters.

Paul Granville said, “I’m delighted that Katrina’s hard work has been recognised in such a prestigious way.

“Katrina will join the ranks of my other colleagues John Rabey, David Williams and Jo Beard. With their assistance I am sure that the firm will go from strength to strength.”
